The city of Panama became the epicenter of Latin entertainment on September 25 as it hosted the 2025 edition of Premios Juventud.

The ceremony, known as the hottest party of the year, celebrated the most influential musicians, actors, and influencers of the moment, according to Univision.

A total of 231 artists were nominated across 41 categories, with the Premios Juventud 2025 winners being revealed throughout the day and confirmed during the main gala.

One of the standout moments was the Best Alternative Urban Song category, where the duo De La Rose & Omar Courtz triumphed with Nubes.

In the category of New Male Generation, young artist ROA was recognized as the revelation, consolidating his rise in the urban industry.

Mexican music also had a leading role with dedicated categories.

In Best Mariachi Mexican Music Song, Cuéntame by Majo Aguilar & Alex Fernández won both applause and the prize.

Meanwhile, fusion took center stage in The Perfect Mix, where Belinda and Tito Double P scored big with La Cuadrada.

Female Power Takes the Stage

The Girl Power category crowned Kenia Os and Anitta for their daring collaboration En 4, highlighting women’s growing influence in urban music.

In the tropical genre, Natti Natasha stood out as a major Premios Juventud 2025 winner with her album Natti Natasha En Amargue, winning Best Tropical Album.

Regional Mexican music also remained strong. Clave Especial & Fuerza Regida triumphed in Best Alternative Mexican Song with Como Capo.

Meanwhile, Grupo Firme celebrated with El Beneficio de la Duda, winner of Best Banda Mexican Song.

Social media also had its spotlight in the Premios Juventud 2025 with the category “Stream That Hit Us,” won by creator Karime Kooler.

In pop, Volver by Piso 21, Marc Anthony, and Beéle was recognized as Best Pop/Rhythmic Song.

Soccer fans enjoyed POV Futbolero, where Ara and Fer were honored.

Tropical Mix went to Alleh & Yorghaki with Capaz (merengueton).

Behind-the-scenes talent was highlighted with #GettingReadyWith, awarded to Berenice Castro.

Soap operas also had a place in the Premios Juventud 2025, with El Extraño Retorno de Diana Salazar starring Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli winning “Me Enamoran.”

Humor shone in Best LOL, awarded to Los Chicaneros.

In pop rock, Morat & Camilo won Best Pop Rock Song with Me Toca a Mí.

Norteño music crowned Julión Álvarez with Rey Sin Reina as Best Norteño Mexican Song.

The social impact award Creator With a Cause went to Alexis Omman.

Jesse & Joy were celebrated with Lo Que Nos Faltó Decir as Best Pop Ballad Song.

Podcast of the Year went to Date Cuenta, reflecting the power of digital formats.

In regional Mexican, Carín León triumphed with Boca Chueca, Vol.1 as Best Mexican Album.

The night closed with the most anticipated recognition, Premios Juventud Artist of the Year, awarded to Karol G, cementing her leadership in Latin music.

Finally, Shakira won Best Pop/Urban Song with Soltera, reaffirming her relevance and connection with new generations.

The gala ended with applause and celebrations, leaving no doubt that the Premios Juventud 2025 winners continue to position the event as one of the most important showcases for Latin talent.
