At just 34 years old, Guerrero’s passing has left an irreplaceable void in the industry.

The news was confirmed by Guerrero’s family through an emotional message posted on his Instagram account.

In their post, the family expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they’ve received during this difficult time and described Jesús as someone whose light touched everyone privileged enough to know him.

«Our family wants to thank everyone for all the love and support during this difficult time. Jesús was the brightest light, and we have never doubted that he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he encountered,» his family shared alongside a picture of him sitting peacefully on a beach.

They added:
«We’ve broken down in tears countless times, remembering and wondering what we could have done differently to still have him with us.»

In a second post, featuring Jesús Guerrero embracing a tree, his family wrote:
«Seeing all your loving posts fills and shatters our hearts at the same time. If anyone has videos or photos, we would love for you to share them with us here.»

The final photo shared by his family shows Guerrero walking the streets of Paris, accompanied by a heartfelt farewell message:
«I don’t know how the world will go on without his light, but I know he will give us the strength to overcome any obstacle. Rest in peace, Jesús. We all love you.»

Jesús Guerrero’s Family Launches GoFundMe for Funeral Expenses

Jesús Guerrero’s younger sister, Gris, also confirmed his passing on a GoFundMe page, seeking help to cover the expenses of bringing his body home to Houston, Texas.

The emotional message described Jesús as someone who was «a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and much more.» Raised by immigrant parents in Houston, he always dreamed of taking his talents to the highest level.

«Jesús learned the value of hard work and dreamed of showcasing his skills on the biggest stages,» Gris wrote.

As of now, the fundraiser has collected over $77,000 of the $80,000 goal.

The cause of Jesús Guerrero’s death has not yet been revealed.

His final Instagram post featured photos of Kali Uchis, who he styled for the 2025 Grammy Awards.

In recent months, Guerrero had also shared images of his work with Kylie Jenner, his long-time client, showcasing styles he created for events such as the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
