President Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized the “inaction” of the United States since Donald Trump took office.

“America’s silence only encourages Putin,” he wrote on Telegram.

The Trump administration has refused to impose new sanctions on Russia this week.

A move interpreted in Kyiv as a sign of weakness.

Impact of Russia’s Aerial Attack on the Ground

Kyiv sustained multiple drone-related damages, though no deaths were reported inside the city.

In Mykolaiv, a 77-year-old man was killed.

Five others were injured.

In Khmelnytskyi, in western Ukraine and far from the front lines, four people were killed.

What’s Being Said

“This was a ruthless attack on civilians. The enemy seeks to sow fear and death,” said Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

“As long as Russia can manufacture weapons, it will continue to kill.”

Warned Andriy Yermak, Zelenskyy’s chief of staff, after Russia’s aerial attack.
