Deadly Shooting in Dallas Walmart Parking Lot Leaves Fatalities

Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and two women injured Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of a Walmart located on Forest Lane in Dallas.
The Dallas Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m., when multiple gunshots were heard in the area.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said the two injured women were taken to local hospitals and are in stable condition.

Aerial footage from FOX 4’s SKY 4 showed officers surrounding a black car with a deceased man inside.

Authorities later confirmed that the man who died was the shooter and that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A video released by FOX 4 showed bullet casings scattered throughout the store’s parking lot during the Dallas Walmart shooting.
What Was Seen at the Scene
According to FOX 4, a witness identified as Baldeo said he recorded video moments after the shooting, showing a man in a red jacket—allegedly the shooter—running before getting into a car.
When officers arrived minutes later, they found the man dead inside the vehicle and recovered a firearm at the scene.
The area was marked by numerous bullet casings and by crowds of people attempting to flee.
Witnesses Describe the Chaos

FOX 4 spoke with a witness who heard the gunfire and described a chaotic scene.
He said there were “three or four shots” and that he could clearly hear each one as people ran in all directions to escape.
He reported that the armed man was chasing several people in the parking lot as they tried to avoid confrontation.
Witness Sirrano Keith Baldeo stated that he saw the man chasing a woman across the parking lot and firing multiple times.
Baldeo explained that the woman was running while the attacker followed her, cornering her between two cars and shooting repeatedly.
He described moments of terror as he tried to decide whether to get out of his vehicle or stay crouched inside.
He added that the shooter fired nonstop and that the incident appeared to have a personal motive.
What Remains Unknown About the Dallas Walmart Shooting
Dallas police have not released the identities of the victims or the shooter.
Investigators have also not disclosed the motive behind the attack or the relationship between the individuals involved.
The department did not hold a press conference at the scene and continues gathering information to determine what happened during the Dallas Walmart shooting.
