Raphael spent the night «calm and conscious» while hospitalized in Madrid.

The singer, currently at the Clínico Hospital in Madrid since Tuesday, has been «accompanied by his children» and «did not suffer a stroke,» according to sources close to the artist.

Early Wednesday morning, his wife, Natalia Figueroa, and granddaughter, Manuela, visited him. «We came to see him. Everything is fine,» said his son Manuel, as Natalia Figueroa thanked reporters upon arrival.

The singer is undergoing various medical tests after experiencing a «transitory episode.» He was transported by ambulance from the Príncipe Theater in Madrid, where he was recording the Christmas special for TVE’s La Revuelta.

According to Madrid emergency services, Raphael was attended to around 7:30 PM for an apparent cerebrovascular episode and taken to the hospital with a reserved prognosis. However, the singer walked into the ambulance on his own.

His management office reassured fans that Raphael is «fine» and they remain «positive» about his recovery. A neurologist evaluated him yesterday, and he continues to be monitored for further testing.

«The people close to Raphael are very calm,» they said, referring to the incident as a «temporary episode.»

Medical tests are ongoing to «rule out any concerns.»

On Wednesday, the singer will undergo additional exams. In the last few hours, Jacobo Martos, one of Raphael’s sons, was seen at the hospital but did not comment to the media.

Raphael has two concerts scheduled for this weekend at Madrid’s Wizink Center, both of which are sold out and remain on the calendar.
