According to the meteorologist from AccuWeather Adam Sadvary, “Mid-week temperatures will reach typical mid-summer levels.”

Daytime temperatures will reach 90°F in locations across New York State such as Syracuse and Albany.

Most cities and towns in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast will see temperatures rise around 8 and 16 degrees Fahrenheit.

This is above typical values ​​for mid-to-late May, and several degrees higher than the highs observed over the weekend.

The air will be even warmer and more humid

As high pressure moves into the Atlantic by midweek, even warmer, moister air will flow into the region from the south, Sadvary explained.

Dew points will rise into the 60s across much of the mid-Atlantic states and the northeast coast.
