Terrorist Attack in Colorado. Police in Colorado (U.S.) arrested a man this Sunday accused of setting several people on fire in a commercial area during a pro-Israel march—an act that left multiple people injured and has already been classified by the FBI as a «terrorist attack.»

Authorities are “working” to identify the attacker and have not yet determined a motive, according to Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn in a press conference.

“When we arrived at the scene, we found several victims with injuries consistent with burns,” Redfearn stated, adding that several individuals were seriously injured.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced this afternoon that his agency is already investigating the incident as a “deliberate terrorist attack” and has deployed several agents to the region.

Terrorist Attack in Colorado. Authorities responded to emergency calls in the Pearl Street area of Boulder, a university city west of Denver, around 1 p.m. local time this Sunday.

Several of the injured were participating in a peaceful protest in support of Israel, according to Redfearn.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an organization dedicated to combating antisemitism and promoting pro-Israel policies, confirmed on its X account that the attack took place during a «Jewish community» event calling for the release of hostages still held by Hamas.

Terrorist Attack in Colorado. According to the website of the Colorado Jewish Organizations Network, the event was a march that has been held periodically since the escalation of the conflict in Gaza on October 7, in «solidarity with the pain» of the hostages.

Several politicians, including Colorado Governor Jared Polis, issued statements today calling the attack an act “of hate.”

“My thoughts are with those who have been injured and affected by this heinous act of terrorism,” said Polis, a Democrat, in a post on X. “Acts of hate of any kind are unacceptable.”

Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic leader in the House of Representatives, went a step further and labeled the attack “antisemitic.”

“Antisemitism has no place in our nation or anywhere in the world. It must be eradicated,” the lawmaker stated in a press release.
