  • This creature is believed to belong to the study of hidden animals.
  • The show’s host shares the tale of this being.

Jorge Luis Sucksdorf goes into the mysterious world of the Chupacabra, a famous being that has left an interesting mark on the history of the study of hidden animals and horror tales.

Jorge Luis Sucksdorf plunges into the darkness of the night to explore one of the most disturbing and lasting mysteries of modern folklore: the Chupacabra.

This being, half nightmare creature, half vampire, has left its mark on popular pictures, causing both fear and interest throughout the American continent.

The search for clues about the true nature of the Chupacabra begins in 1934 in the state of Tennessee, United States.

At that time, people talked about hurt animals that had no blood left. Even though the first stories were not clear, the people living in the countryside of Tennessee got more and more scared.

Local news, using what people said they saw, described something that looked like it was behind these attacks: a sort of blood-sucking kangaroo.

This animal got the name «Blood-Drinking Kangaroo,» and this is how the Chupacabra story started.

After people first saw it in Tennessee, the Chupacabra went away but came back about 15 years later, in the 1950s, in Arizona.

Reports of animal attacks multiplied, and once again, the creature became a topic of conversation. However, its presence appeared sometimes and strangely, leaving many confused.

The Chupacabra began to establish its true fame in 1975, in Puerto Rico.

That year, reports of attacked animals increased, and surprisingly, some people claimed to have seen lights in the sky on the nights of the attacks.

In the Moca area of Puerto Rico, numerous attacks occurred, and both the press and locals named the creature «The Vampire of Moca.» Yet, the Chupacabra vanished once again, this time for 20 years.

Its arrival in Mexico

The Chupacabra returned with force in 1995, first in Puerto Rico and then in the American continent, specifically in Mexico.

Reports of bloodless dead animals grew, causing deep fear in rural communities.

Authorities and some experts tried to provide logical explanations, such as the thirst of coyotes and wild dogs due to a drought.

However, these explanations didn’t convince everyone, as the attacks continued, and the mystery remains.

As Jorge Luis Sucksdorf looks into the Chupacabra event, he finds another weird thing: cows getting hurt.

These events, starting in the 1950s, look a lot like Chupacabra attacks.

Animals are found hurt with sharp cuts, some parts missing, and, just like with Chupacabra, there’s no blood around.

People also say that when cows get hurt, there are lights in the sky and lots of water goes missing from that place.

Although many ideas have been put forward, none have completely resolved this mystery, adding an additional layer of mystery.

The Chupacabra and cattle mutilations are puzzles that have confused experts, authorities, and rural communities for decades.

Despite efforts to explain them, the mystery remains and continues to captivate those who delve into the dark world of the supernatural.

Undoubtedly, this is one of the most popular topics in the world of supernatural and the study of hidden animals.
