What did the doctors say?

On his GoFundMe page, the popular actor said that the tumor is the size of a lemon.
«Doctors so far have said that it’s about the size of a lemon,» the actor explained in the description.
«[A]nd you know what they say, «when life gives you lemons… (have the tumor removed so we can) make lemonade!'» Cowperthwaite added.
The actor and dancer also explains what the money he raises will cover in terms of his treatment.

«The only course of treatment is surgery. Removing as much of this sucker as possible is the best way to ensure I get to continuing living a full and happy life,” he noted.
He also mentioned that surgery will allow him to know the severity or grade of the tumor, crucial information for planning long-term treatment.
«I am currently interviewing with several different surgeons and facilities to decide what that best fit will be for treatment and recovery,» he added.
How will this affect the actor’s life?

The Netflix star stated that he will likely have to have regular scans for the rest of his life.
«It’s likely that I’ll need scans for the rest of my life, so I’m also looking for a place that gives off ‘good vibes’ for the long term,» he highlighted.

This news comes after a difficult year for Cowperthwaite, marked by professional challenges caused by the pandemic and the SAG strike.

He also thanked everyone for their support and messages of encouragement.
