Throughout 2023, we’ve heard from artists of various musical genres, each with a distinct style.
Undoubtedly, this list won’t encompass all the highly talented female artists, but we believe these are the most representative.
Of course, we couldn’t forget about Colombians Shakira and Karol G, as well as Natti Natasha, Becky G, Camila Cabello, and Anitta.
1. Anitta’s Favela Funk

Considered the biggest pop star from Brazil in a long time, Anitta’s international reach is impressive.
Larissa de Macedo Machado, her real name, cites Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Carmen Miranda among her biggest influences.
Many people got to know her through the song «Envolver,» which is featured on the «Versions of Me» album.
Just a few days ago, she performed with great success at the Global Citizen Festival held in New York’s Central Park.
2. Camila Cabello, Proud to Be Mexican

On this list of Hispanic singers is Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, simply known as Camila Cabello.

Better known as Becky G, this young artist gained recognition after posting videos of herself on YouTube.

5. La ‘Bichota,’ Part of Her Identity

A few months later, «Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season)» was released, which includes a collaboration with Peso Pluma.
Carolina Giraldo Navarro, originally from Medellín, Colombia, is also known as ‘Bichota.’
