«You can see people inside the trailer, they’re being smuggled,» a voice is heard in a video that quickly went viral.

«There’s a hole above, and they’re pulling everyone out. Someone died because people are crying there,» the person added.

The scenes are shocking: several people were trapped in the wreckage, and a group of citizens worked hard to free them.

For now, the nationality of the affected individuals and the whereabouts or health status of the driver are unknown.

This accident highlights once again the dangerous journey migrants face in their attempt to reach the United States.

Under the administration of Alfonso Durazo, Sonora has seen a significant increase in illegal migration due to violence in Central America, poverty, and the search for better opportunities.

In response to this growing problem, local and federal authorities have intensified surveillance in the border area to combat human trafficking.

According to the National Institute of Migration (INM), numerous operations have been conducted in strategic points such as Nogales and San Luis Río Colorado.

Each operation resulted in the detention of hundreds of migrants, as reported by ‘Infobae’.

The tragic accident in Navojoa not only underscores the desperation of those seeking a better future but also the risks and dangers they face along the way.

Authorities are conducting investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident and to provide necessary assistance to the injured.

The local community has shown solidarity, with residents helping in rescue efforts and supporting the affected migrants.

However, the situation remains critical, and authorities are expected to release a more detailed report in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, the issue of illegal migration remains a significant challenge for Sonora and other border states.
