Justin Trudeau launched strong accusations against Donald Trump.

The Canadian Prime Minister stated that Trump aims to collapse Canada’s economy.

He claimed the ultimate goal is to facilitate the annexation of Canada into the United States.

Trudeau categorically rejected the idea that Canada could become the 51st state.

Justin Trudeau dismissed Trump’s justifications as false.

He asserted that the fentanyl crisis is merely a smokescreen.

Starting Tuesday, Canada implemented 25% tariffs on certain U.S. products.

Items such as bourbon, appliances, and cereals are already affected.

If the US does not remove its tariffs, Canada will expand its measures.

In three weeks, additional tariffs will be imposed on more U.S. goods.

This will amount to an extra 125 billion Canadian dollars in tariffs.

Canada will also file lawsuits with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and under the USMCA trade agreement.

Justin Trudeau warned of a possible energy supply cut.

Canada is evaluating suspending oil and gas exports to the U.S.

Additionally, electricity exports could be halted.

These decisions are under review with provincial governments.

The Prime Minister addressed Donald Trump.

He called him by his first name and criticized his stance.

He cited the Wall Street Journal to highlight Trump’s miscalculation.

Trudeau argued that the trade dispute benefits U.S. adversaries.

He accused Donald Trump of aligning with Vladimir Putin.

He claimed that the U.S. is abandoning its historical allies.

Trudeau warned that these policies harm the American economy and values.

He urged U.S. citizens to reflect on their country’s future.

The Prime Minister made a call for Canadians to stand firm.

He urged the country to resist and defend its sovereignty.

He promised to fight for Canada’s economy and independence.

Justin Trudeau concluded by assuring that Canada will endure and prevail.
