According to USA TODAY, President Donald Trump is facing a significant drop in his approval rating, reaching the lowest level of his second term, based on the latest Gallup data.
The poll, conducted from November 3 to 25, showed that only 36% of Americans approve of his performance — well below the 41% recorded just a month earlier.
The number is close to the 34% he registered in 2021 after the Capitol riots, considered the lowest point of his entire public career.
The data confirms a steady erosion of the president’s public image in recent weeks.

The decline in Trump’s approval rating was consistent across Republicans, independents, and Democrats, marking a widespread trend of diminishing support.
Among Republicans, approval fell to 84%, down from 91%, marking the lowest level of his current term.
Independents reduced their support from 33% to 25%, a shift that often has direct implications in national electoral scenarios.
Democrats gave him only 3% approval, reinforcing the deep polarization surrounding the presidency.
Trump Approval Rating Drops After New Controversies

His disapproval index rose to 60%, six points higher than the previous month, reflecting a clear rise in public dissatisfaction.
RealClearPolitics recorded a low of 42.3% in November, coinciding with the end of a 43-day government shutdown and newly emerging political controversies.
A dispute involving emails connected to the Epstein case added further media and political pressure during the same period.
The data shows that, despite earlier stability, public perception shifted abruptly in November.
International Impact and Internal Tensions in the U.S.

Concerns over the rising cost of living have negatively influenced evaluations of the president’s performance.
The Trump administration continues deploying National Guard troops in several U.S. cities amid a tense social climate.
Internationally, the government is pushing a reinforced military strategy against Venezuelan drug trafficking, prompting debate among lawmakers.
At the same time, it is pressuring Ukraine to reach a peace agreement — a stance that has become a new source of public and political division.
Negative Evaluations in Economy and Foreign Policy Affected Trump’s Approval Rating
Gallup reported that approval of the administration’s handling of the federal budget fell 12 points since March.
Public evaluation of the government’s handling of the situation in Ukraine also declined, dropping 10 points in the same period.
The administration’s immigration policy lost nine points, while approval of economic management fell six points since February.
Even views related to the Middle East showed significant declines, rounding out a period marked by broad dissatisfaction.
