President Donald Trump enthusiastically praised top officials following the capture of an alleged leader of the MS-13 gang.
The suspect, an undocumented Salvadoran national living in Virginia, was reportedly running the organization’s operations along the entire East Coast.
Trump reacted on his social network Truth Social, calling border ‘czar’ Tom Homan a “superstar.”
He also applauded the work of Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
Trump and the White House Praise Operation Against MS-13 Leader

“Great job by Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, Tom Homan, and Kristi Noem in capturing the MS-13 leader. Huge win!” Trump wrote.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt described the arrest as “a major victory for the American public.”
According to Leavitt, both Bondi and Patel were personally involved in the operation carried out earlier that morning.
“This was a very violent individual who was apprehended in a home where five children were present,” the spokeswoman stated.
“Our communities are safer this morning, and that’s a good thing for our country,” she added.
The announcement came Thursday amid heavy police and media presence.

Pam Bondi held a press conference where she referred to the suspect as a “terrorist.”
The attorney general declined to disclose the suspect’s identity or the evidence linking him to MS-13 as its leader, citing security concerns.
Authorities stated that Tom Homan’s operation represented a significant blow to organized crime.
So far, no further details have been released regarding the operation or the future of the arrested Salvadoran national.
