Former President Donald Trump has signed an executive order aimed at reducing the cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in the United States.
The measure seeks to eliminate economic barriers and expand access to this fertility treatment.
«IVF offers hope to men and women facing fertility challenges,» the White House stated in a press release.
The cost per cycle of this procedure ranges between $12,000 and $25,000.
Trump Moves to Lower IVF Costs with New Policy Recommendations

Trump has directed his National Policy Advisor to present recommendations within the next 90 days.
The goal is to aggressively lower IVF costs and ensure broader availability.
«My administration recognizes the importance of family formation,» the former president affirmed.
The signing of this order comes months after the Republican Party blocked a Democratic bill on IVF access.
Democrats pushed the initiative in September following Trump’s public support for fertility treatments.
However, Trump has also taken credit for nominating the judges who overturned abortion rights in 2022.
