Mega Millions winners in North Carolina!

Two Mega Millions winners got lucky North Carolina, with life-changing prizes.

While no one claimed the jackpot, they’re still each taking home a nice check.

One ticket sold in North Carolina paid $4 million and another was $1 million.

The winners were drawn on Tuesday, April 23, according to The Charlotte Observer.

The winning numbers for the white balls were 11-17-33-39-43, and for the golden Mega ball, it was 14.

Both winning tickets matched all five numbers of the white balls.

Luckily, one of the players, who wisely spent an extra dollar on the Megaplier option, was able to quadruple their prize to $4 million.

The $4 million ticket was sold in Kernersville, near Winston-Salem, while the other was purchased near Asheville.

Both Mega Millions winners were just one number away from winning the jackpot, which is up to $202 million.

With no jackpot winner, the $4 million dollar prize turned out to be the highest win on Tuesday, April 23.

By 8:45 a.m., it was reported that both North Carolina winners had claimed their prizes, which will be distributed within six months.
