Now, 21-year-old Anthony Espinosa has spoken out about the incident and says he looked through his mother’s belongings and found some surprising information.

After the discovery of the body, which was not only hanging but had also been set on fire, the son of the late Vanessa García, answers questions and calls for the authorities to investigate «the true cause» of what happened instead of maintaining their their theory that it was a suicide, The Sun indicated.

Was it a murder?

Anthony Espinosa declared that he found documents that prove that his mother was threatened before she died and pointed out that Vanessa García had written that she had been raped, drugged and threatened, before her death in Griffith Park, reported The Sun. Her son does not believe it was a suicide.

Several entries in García’s diary described things that happened before death knocked on her door. Anthony gave information about what happened to his mother before she was found burned and hanged to local media.

Was she the victim of sex trafficking ring?

The circumstances around García’s death become increasingly dark when her son says that his mother wrote that she was part of a sex trafficking network and she was in danger. The son of the woman who was found in the Los Angeles park, says that the police did not adequately investigate the facts surrounding Vanessa’s death.

«I found some notes written by her, where she claimed to be sexually trafficked,» Espinosa told the Independent. “[The police] said that it was a suicide, but a few days ago I found some notes written by her, where she claimed to be sexually trafficked,» the young man reported in an interview after Vanessa’s death.

Was Vanessa García in danger?

García’s son stated that his mother wrote in the diary that she was in serious danger and for that reason, she was taking her own life. Anthony Espinosa explains that Vanessa wrote about the traumatic experiences that she had to go through before her death.

“Everything she was experiencing, she wrote down in that diary; there she explains why she did what she did. She was in danger. They made her repeat over and over again: ‘I’m going to set fire to my loser prostitute’s eyes,'» according to The Sun. Los Angeles authorities found her body in a local park. In the first reports from the coroner, it was specified that Vanessa García died of «asphyxiation and self-immolation,» reported The Sun. Now, the Hispanic’s contests the death certificate, making it clear that his mother did not die by suicide.

«My mom didn’t work. I remember that when I was younger, she had a good job and earned a lot of money. I don’t know what year she lost [her] job, but in 2018, everything went downhill.
