Virginia daycare shooting sparks terror

The children «were not within sight» of the incident, Deputy Chief Brooke Wright stated during a press conference outside the daycare.
Sejas fired three rounds into the closed door.
Then, he returned to his car and left the West Springfield KinderCare, a daycare and preschool located at the 8500 block of Bauer Drive in Fairfax County, Virginia, according to the police report accessed by MundoNow.
The shooter’s estranged wife and a coworker were injured in the incident.
The children remained calm
Both were taken to a hospital by Fairfax Fire and Rescue officers. Their conditions were not life-threatening, the report indicates.
Officers evacuated the daycare and the children were taken out through the side doors.
«They were jovial they were taken outside doors, they didn’t appear to even see the broken front door,» Wright said.
The 911 call was received at 2:14 p.m., minutes after the shots were fired. Immediately law enforcement acted to apprehend the suspect.
