Registration deadlines: 11 days before Election Day, voter registration closes at 5 p.m., unless it falls on a legal holiday or weekend, in which case the deadline is 5 p.m. on the next business day. Additionally, voters can register to vote and cast their ballots at an early voting location or at a polling place on Election Day.

How can I vote?
By Mail: All active, registered voters in Utah receive a ballot by mail automatically. Those who won’t be present at their registered address can update their mailing address online or contact their clerk’s office for information on receiving their mail ballot at their current address. Ballots must be postmarked by the day before Election Day, or dropped off at a designated drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters with disabilities can request to receive and submit their ballot by email or fax, or participate in Utah County’s program allowing smartphone voting.
Early In-Person: Utah voters can also vote in person during early voting, available in every county with varying hours and days. Contact your county clerk for details.
Election Day: Voting sites will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. If you’re in line by the time polls close, you have the right to vote.
