- Valentín Elizalde and Santería.
- What was his connection to the Narcosantanics?
- The mystery surrounding his murder.
As we approach the 17th anniversary of his murder, more questions about Valentín Elizalde and Santería emerge.
After giving a performance at the Palenque de la Expo Feria in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, El Gallo de Oro was gunned down.
His manager, Mario Mendoza Grajeda, and his driver, Reynaldo Ballesteros, were also killed at the scene.
Miraculously, his cousin Tano Elizalde only sustained minor injuries. To this day, he is considered an accomplice in these murders.
The Narcosatanics and their connection to Santería

Just a few weeks ago, news from the entertainment world surprised everyone — the arrest of the Narcosatanics in a building in Mexico City.
The members of this gang were associated with the world of Santería and its dark practices.
In the building, police found Adolfo Constanzo, known as El Padrino, and a Santería practitioner in the LGBT+ community, Sara Aldrete.
Adolfo claimed to be a witch who had the power to help people achieve anything they desired. Was Valentín Elizalde one of them?
Celebrities’ connections with the Narcosatanics

There are two versions of the death of Santería practitioner Adolfo Constanzo — one suggests that he asked one of his companions to shoot him.
The other story claims that authorities shot El Padrino directly in the head. Sara Aldrete has also stated this.
In an interview, Aldrete affirmed that several entertainment industry personalities were linked to the Narcosatanics.
These individuals sought Adolfo’s help to gain fame, luxury, wealth, recognition and success.
Valentín Elizalde and Santería: Other celebrities who may have been involved with the Narcosatanics

In this same conversation, Sara Aldrete stated that — in addition to Valentín Elizalde — Juan Gabriel sought help from Santería practitioner Adolfo Constanzo.
Furthermore, this list includes Mexican singer Yuri and the renowned actress and singer Lucía Méndez.
It didn’t take long for both artists to deny any connection with the Narcosatanics.
Constanzo was also said to have had ties to both drug traffickers and politicians. Almost 17 years after his death, El Vale remains a topic of discussion.
Theories about Elizalde’s murder

For several years, various theories have circulated regarding the murder of Mexican singer Valentín Elizalde.
It’s worth noting that before what would be his final performance, El Gallo de Oro received death threats from criminal groups.
Despite this, the young artist, who was only 27 years old at the time, decided to go ahead with his show, where he sang the song ‘A Mis Enemigos’.
It is said that this song, commissioned by El Chapo Guzmán, led to his death, as it was directed at criminal groups in this northeastern region of Mexico.
El Gallo de Oro: Forbidden love and murder

While discussing Valentín Elizalde’s involvement in Santería, we share another hypothesis about his murder.
Rather than stemming from disputes between rival drug organizations, it’s possible his death was due to his involvement with a woman.
It is said that El Gallo de Oro had a romantic relationship with the wife of a powerful drug lord in Tamaulipas.
According to Telediario, this individual ordered Valentín’s murder after he finished his performance at the Reynosa arena.
