In recent years, we’ve been hearing a certain name in the press and on social media.
We’re talking about Raúl Brindis, who was born on August 17, 1963, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He is now 60 years old.
On his official Instagram account alone, where he has shared about 3,000 posts, he has 145,000 followers.

A civil engineer by profession, Raúl Brindis graduated from the Technological Institute of his hometown, according to writer Sanjuana Vázquez.
At just over 20 years old, he ventured into the world of radio for the first time at the W station of Amplitude Modulated (AM).
He hosted a morning show that played gruperas songs and this allowed him to meet and socialize with many musicians.
Few know that he wrote several songs that he gave to some of these bands, and they later became hits.
He pursued the American Dream
But Raúl Brindis wanted more for his life so, in the early nineties, he went in search of the American Dream.
After crossing the Rio Grande, he arrived in Los Angeles, California, where he started working as a vegetable loader at a market.
He asked a radio station to let him host a show at night, which he did for free.
One day he got an amazing opportunity and today he is one of the most beloved figures in Hispanic radio in the United States.
The Raúl Brindis Show
Currently, The Raúl Brindis Show airs from 5 to 11 in the morning, Monday through Friday on KLTN and UniMas in Houston, Texas.
Through the Univision Radio network, this program can be heard in Austin, Albuquerque, Chicago, Dallas, El Paso and Fresno.
It also airs in Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, McAllen, Laredo, New York, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego and San Francisco.
As if that weren’t enough, Raúl is a respected composer and singer. A true display of talent.
Another Night Without You
Raúl Brindis has also released several albums under the DISA Records label.
Among them are Las Más Solicitadas de la Radio (2003), Another Night Without You (2004), and Reflections, Vol. 2: Las Más Solicitadas de la Radio (2006).
In addition, in 2009 he appeared as a judge on Univision’s ¡Viva el Sueño!.
He was also a guest judge on Univision’s Objetivo Fama.
