The son of Fabio Gutiérrez and Rubí Alonso González, Xavi was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He is considered one of the top corridos tumbados singers.

At just 15, he released the single ‘Vete Ya.’ However, as mentioned earlier, he rose to fame with ‘La Victima’ and ‘La Diabla.’
