Although some U.S. citizens were detained, authorities have not specified the exact number of workers involved.
According to reports from the Los Angeles Times, at least 200 people were detained during the operation, but the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has not responded to requests for comment on the incident.
Meanwhile, family members of the workers gathered outside the farm, waiting for news of their loved ones.
Worker testimonies indicate they were held for up to eight hours and forced to delete photos and videos of the raid from their mobile phones.

Additionally, ten minors were found during immigration raids conducted at two farms belonging to the same grower.
Eight of them were classified as unaccompanied minors, meaning they arrived in the United States without responsible adults.
The union demanded that the minors be guaranteed independent legal representation, warning of the dangers of detaining and deporting children in such operations.
“Detaining and deporting children is not a solution to child labor,” stated the UFW in a statement.
