The death of Colombian singer Yeison Jiménez shook the country after Aerocivil confirmed the crash of aircraft N325FA in Boyacá, an accident in which six people died with no survivors.
The artist was scheduled to perform that same night in Medellín, but the plane reportedly failed to gain the necessary altitude after taking off from Paipa Airport, according to preliminary reports.
Minutes after the tragedy, the final videos capturing the last moments of the performer and his companions began circulating.
Among them are images recorded inside an airport shop showing Jiménez and his team buying snacks for the trip.

In the security footage, Yeison Jiménez is seen entering the shop at 2:18 p.m. on January 10, accompanied by several members of his team.
They approach the counter, briefly chat with employees, and make a few purchases before boarding the aircraft. The images reveal a relaxed atmosphere, with smiles exchanged as they receive the items they planned to consume during the flight.

After the footage was shared, social media users posted emotional messages such as: “He was happy, and until the very last moment he remembered his son Santiago and smiled.”
Other messages read: “God receive him with peace and love” and “Rest in peace, forever in our hearts.”
The Takeoff Video That Sparks Controversy
Another clip that went viral was the last one shared by Weisman Mora, the singer’s official photographer. Through his Instagram stories, he recorded the moment the aircraft moved along the runway to begin takeoff toward Medellín.
In the video, he appears seated in the co-pilot’s seat while the landscape of the Boyacá highlands passes by outside the window.
However, what drew the most attention was the pilot’s behavior, as the short clip appears to show him using his cellphone during takeoff.
So far, the official causes of the accident have not been determined, nor has it been confirmed whether this detail is related to the tragedy.

Another Video From Inside the Plane
In recent hours, another clip also went viral showing passengers already seated inside the aircraft.
In the footage, a man dressed in black is seen exiting the plane before takeoff while the others wait to depart.
Yeison Jiménez, seated next to one of his collaborators, jokes about whether or not to drink a soda before starting the flight.
Although many assumed this video was recorded on the same day as the accident, it was later clarified that it actually belonged to previous days.

Yeison Jiménez Had a Full Schedule Before the Tragedy
The singer had begun 2026 with an intense concert schedule in several cities across the country.
Recent performances included shows in Palermo, Manizales, and Málaga, where audiences celebrated the start of the year with his music.
On January 10, Yeison Jiménez was scheduled to perform in Marinilla, a date he was unable to fulfill due to the fatal plane crash.
The release of these videos has intensified national mourning as authorities continue investigating what happened to the aircraft.
