A man was killed by his father-in-law following a domestic violence report. Authorities are investigating the crime.

Father-in-law kills son-in-law and the case goes viral on social media. The crime occurred this Monday, December 22, after a woman reported to her father that she had been physically assaulted by her husband, within a repeated context of domestic violence.
The events took place on Wednesday, December 17, around 12:00 p.m., on Brasil Avenue in the municipality of Três Barras do Paraná, according to information from the Military Police.
Hours before the homicide, the Paraná Military Police received a call reporting a domestic violence incident. The alleged aggressor reportedly threatened his partner but fled before officers arrived at the residence.

According to the woman’s testimony, fearing her husband, she asked a friend to stay with her at home. Later, the man returned, demanded that she leave the house, and when she refused, slapped her.
After the assault, the victim decided to notify her father.
The woman’s father went to the residence armed and accompanied by another young man to confront his son-in-law, Juliano Schina dos Santos, 32.
During the confrontation, the father-in-law pulled out a .38-caliber revolver and fired multiple shots.
Death at the Scene
The victim was struck by at least three bullets and died at the scene.
The case is being investigated by the Paraná Military Police, the Civil Police, and the Legal Medical Institute, which are conducting the necessary procedures to clarify the facts and determine the legal status of the detained suspect.
The incident underscores the severe consequences of domestic violence and the tragic escalation that can result when repeated abuse leads to irreversible outcomes.
