Michael Stanek, a driver in Palm Coast, Florida, was stopped for going 107 mph (172 km/h) and told police he was late for a barber appointment.
The video released by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office shows the moment 57-year-old Michael Stanek was pulled over and arrested for reckless speeding.
“Why Were You Driving So Fast?”
In the patrol recording, an officer asks:
“Why were you driving so fast?”
To which Michael Stanek responds:
“I have a barber appointment.”

Arrested for Speeding and Released on Bail
Michael Stanek was taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Detention Facility and later released after posting a $150 bond, according to authorities.
