Inter Milan, one of Europe’s elite clubs and the only Italian team never relegated from Serie A, will take part in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ after qualifying through UEFA rankings thanks to consistent Champions League success between 2021 and 2024.

How They Qualified

Inter Milan earned their spot by maintaining a high standard in the UEFA Champions League, including reaching the 2022/23 final, where they narrowly lost 1-0 to Manchester City.

Founded in 1908 by a group of AC Milan dissidents, Inter is one of football’s most storied institutions, with 27 national trophies (20 Scudetti, 9 Coppa Italia titles, and 8 Italian Super Cups) and three European Cups. Their greatest triumph came in 2009/10, when they claimed a historic treble: Serie A, Coppa Italia, and UEFA Champions League.
