President Joe Biden today thanked his Mexican counterpart, Claudia Sheinbaum, for her leadership and collaboration.
Since they made it possible for more than a ton of fentanyl to be confiscated in that country this week, the largest shipment in its history.
And according to the president, it was enough to kill 15 percent of all Americans.
The United States has a fight against fentanyl and with Mexico, they continue to work to arrest its distributors.

On Tuesday, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection of Mexico (SSPC) reported on an operation carried out in Sinaloa.
During the raid, they confiscated nearly 300 kilos of fentanyl in a home and another 800 kilos of the same drug in a van.
What about the opioid fight?
Also, the President recalled that during the four years of his mandate, which is close to concluding, he fought against the opioid epidemic.
