The majority of Latino voters reject the mass deportations proposed by President-elect Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, 63% voted for Kamala Harris, a higher proportion than initially reported last week, according to a survey.
More than half a dozen Latino organizations published their findings this Tuesday, November 12.
The survey was conducted between October 18 and November 4 among 3,750 Hispanic voters.

«We need to start telling the full story about this election,» said Melissa Morales, president of Somos Votantes, during a press conference.
The survey also found that Trump gained increased support among Latinos.
However, this does not mean that voters in this community back his most radical immigration proposals.
«A supermajority rejects mass deportations,» emphasized Clarissa Martínez de Castro.
She is the vice president of UnidosUS’s Latino Vote Initiative.
Eighty percent of Hispanic voters said they support passing a law to grant permanent residency to undocumented immigrants.
As long as they have lived in the United States for a long time.
This includes «Dreamers,» the term for immigrants who were brought to the country as children.
Seventy-one percent of Hispanic voters support the approval of a bipartisan border security bill.
Failed in the Senate in February

This bill restricts asylum, increases the number of Border Patrol agents and asylum officers.
And enhances security along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Vanessa Cárdenas, executive director of America’s Voice, stated that the survey makes it clear that «Trump does not have a mandate for mass deportations.»
Much less to send the military to arrest «our immigrant neighbors or family members.»
The survey reveals that 63% of Latinos voted for Kamala Harris compared to 37% for Trump.
This figure is significantly higher than the results reported last week from exit polls conducted by NBC.
The organizations’ survey found that the majority of Hispanic men voted for Kamala Harris (51%-48%).
Similarly, a large majority of Hispanic women supported her (66%-32%).
