The journalist never imagined that two days after she celebrated her children’s graduation, her happiness would be marred by tragedy.

Raúl Quintana, María Celeste Arrarás’ boyfriend, suffered a massive heart attack while he was exercising, leaving the journalist and her family in shock.

Now we know how Raúl spent his last days on Earth.

Lara Arvesu, the journalist’s daughter, graduated from college with honors on April 29 and photos from that day show the presenter and her boyfriend smiling and happy.

María Celeste shared the photos and videos of her daughter Lara and her son Adrián’s graduations.

In the images, the couple is smiling with Lara and Adrián during one of the happiest moments of their lives.

Sadly, everything was overshadowed by the devastating heart attack Raúl suffered while he was exercising in the house he shared with María Celeste.

Apparently, all of her children saw Raúl Quintero as a father figure.

Not only was the journalist devastated by Raúl’s sudden death, her children Julián, Lara and Adrián are also mourning his passing.

María Celeste’s post about the loss of her boyfriend surprised everyone: «With deep sadness I share the sudden death of my partner, Raúl…» she began.

«It is incredible how a person so positive and full of life, a person who gave us so much, is gone from one moment to the next. It’s hard to comprehend,» she continued.

She concluded: «This is without a doubt, my most painful post. We already miss him.»
