According to the Durango State Attorney General’s Office, the incident was recorded at around 12:20 p.m. at an establishment located on 5 de Febrero Street, between Aldama and Bravo.
José Sebastián «Chechito» lived just a few blocks away, in the same neighborhood known as “El Ranchito.”

Witnesses said the boy entered the bakery and, innocently, offered to run an errand in exchange for a few coins.
Inside the bakery were three adults: Isaac Ramos, 39, Dante “N,” and Uriel “N,” according to Infobae.
The Moment of the Attack
The first statements collected by authorities indicate that Dante rejected the teenager’s offer.
After that refusal, Dante himself encouraged the other men to hold the José Sebastián «Chechito» down.
At that moment, Isaac Ramos grabbed him from behind, while Dante wielded a .38 caliber revolver kept in the shop as a supposed “security measure.”
“Dante placed the weapon on the young man’s chest and pulled the trigger,” the ministerial report states.
The Fatal Shot that Killed José Sebastián «Chechito»
Of the attempted shots, only one round fired.
The bullet struck directly in the boy’s chest and passed through his body.
The projectile exited through his back and hit Isaac Ramos, who was wounded in the abdomen.
The teenager collapsed gravely injured, and immediately Uriel “N” took him to the Red Cross.
Failed Rescue Attempt

Doctors at the Red Cross confirmed that José Sebastián arrived with no vital signs.
“We could only confirm his death upon arrival,” said the specialists who attended him.
Meanwhile, Isaac’s relatives took him to a private hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
Despite the medical care, the severity of “Chechito’s” case marked the tragedy within minutes.
Dante Flees the Scene
After the attack, Dante fled in a pickup truck before authorities arrived.
At the bakery where the Mexican teenager was killed, agents found a revolver and a spent shell casing, which were secured as evidence.
The Laguna Regional Deputy Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Durango opened a formal case file.
The boy’s body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for an autopsy, according to Infobae.
Ongoing Investigations
The Prosecutor’s Office reported that Isaac Ramos was placed under custody of the Investigative Police.
Authorities are investigating him for his probable participation in the homicide.
Meanwhile, Dante “N,” fully identified, remains at large and is actively being pursued by security forces.
“The priority is to locate the alleged perpetrator and bring him to justice,” said a spokesperson for the Prosecutor’s Office.
A Community in Shock After the Death of José Sebastián
According to Infobae, the “El Ranchito” neighborhood remains devastated by the boy’s death.
Neighbors remember him as a cheerful youngster who tried to help with small jobs.
The “Durango” bakery remains under guard while investigations continue.
The case has become a symbol of outrage over the violence that reaches even the youngest.
