Chronicle: A sad truth is that when you least expect it, you can suddenly go from being perfectly healthy to hitting rock bottom. It is something that can happen to anyone.

In Georgia there is a Hispanic family that almost always offers financial help when I share a tragic story. They always find a way to contribute in one way or another.

They like to help but now, due to one of those inexplicable twists of fate, they are the ones who need assistance.

One of their relatives has just been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

While most of us enjoyed Christmas with family and good food, this girl was recovering from brain surgery.

“Like every young person who wants to make their way in life, Millyangelis Sanchez Rios, a 20-year-old girl, moved to the State of Vermont a month ago,” her family wrote.

“There, she quickly gets a job. A week after, working, she suffered a seizures and was taken by ambulance to the UVM Medical Center Hospital,” they continued in their GoFundMe description.

A very unpleasant surprise for Milly Sanchez Rios

Milly Sanchez Rios was diagnosed with a 4.5 centimeter brain tumor. After two long operations, they managed to remove only a part.

To continue her specialized radiation treatment she will have to travel to Emory in Atlanta. But she has no health insurance because she had only been at her job for a short time.

Her medical expenses will be substantial.

For this reason, a GoFundMe campaign as been started to help raise money for her treatment.

Let’s all support Milly Sanchez Rios

I know that at this time many don’t have much extra money, but by making a small effort we could bless this family, even if it is with little.

The Ríos Ayala’s once helped people they didn’t know and now it is our turn to lend a hand to help Millyangelis Sanchez Rios.

That’s called compassion. Here is the link of GoFundMe for direct donations.
