The investigation into the incident is currently open. It occurred around 12:00 p.m. last Wednesday in Memphis, Tennessee, when the woman went shopping for household supplies. When she left the store with her 1-year-old son, she was preparing to put the bags in her vehicle.

HOW WERE THEY KIDNAPPED?

Suddenly, two armed men threatened her and forced her and her child to get into their vehicle. That was when her terrifying ordeal began. Fortunately she and her son were unharmed.

The police described the events from the time she left the store until the moment they were released by the kidnappers, who fled in an unknown direction. The United States is experiencing a wave of violence including assaults, shootings, murders and kidnappings.

WHAT DID THEY MAKE THE VICTIMS DO?

Official sources from the Memphis Police Department explained what happened through a brief statement on social media: «The males forced the victim and the child into the suspect’s vehicle,.» And then they explained what the suspects forced their victims to do.

«The suspects drove to the Regions Bank at 7790 Highway 64 and forced the victim to withdraw $800.00 from the ATM.» They added that the bank was located approximately half a mile west of where the woman and child were kidnapped when they were shopping at the store. WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THEY WERE RELEASED?
