«One day, a reporter asked me if Canelo needed another trainer, and I replied that maybe he did, considering I had seven different trainers in my career,» he said.

«I suggested that Eddy Reynoso might need help, and suddenly I was labeled as a hypocrite, disloyal, that’s how it all started,» the former boxer said.

Amidst the anticipation for the upcoming fight in Las Vegas, De La Hoya launches strong criticisms towards Canelo, questioning his career decisions and his supposed lack of recognition towards those who have supported him.

«I never received a thank you when I got him what was the biggest contract of his career. Let him rot, to hell with him,» he emphasized.
