Unfortunately, Paul Teal passed away at the age of 35.

The actor, known for his roles in The Walking Dead and One Tree Hill, had been fighting pancreatic cancer.

His partner, fellow actress Emilia Torello, announced in an Instagram post on Sunday that Teal had passed away on Friday, November 15.

«The most thoughtful, inspiring, motivated, self-disciplined, and loving man has passed away,» Emilia wrote.

In another part of her message, Paul Teal’s wife mentioned that he was taken «too soon.»

«In a battle you fought bravely and without faltering,» Emilia Torello wrote in the caption of a photo of the two of them.

On Monday, the actress told TMZ that Paul Teal had been battling pancreatic cancer since April when he was diagnosed.

He passed away last week in a hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Paul Teal played Josh in the teen drama series One Tree Hill for seven episodes.

His castmate Bethany Joy Lenz shared a heartfelt tribute to the actor.

«His brilliant smile, contagious laugh, and big heart made you want to be around him,» wrote Joy Lenz.

In addition to One Tree Hill and The Walking Dead, Paul Teal appeared in films such as Deep Water and Fear Street: 1978.

He also participated in the series The Hunting Wives, which is currently in post-production.

According to Milenio, the actor appeared in just one episode of The Walking Dead: The World Beyond in 2020.

There, he played the character Walter.
