Is she coming back to television? Dr. Polo says that Caso Cerrado ‘is still alive’

In a recent interview for People en Español, Dr. Polo said that «it was difficult» to say goodbye to Caso Cerrado after almost 20 years of being on air and adds that there are still some episodes saved.

Telemundo launched Caso Cerrado in 2011. It’s a show where Dr. Ana María Polo intervened in some legal cases that affected Latinos, and it quickly became a favorite. The show went off the air on December 10, 2019.

The interview was carried out 12 months after the end of the program and Dr. Polo was asked if she missed television. The lawyer affirmed that, for her, television was like a drug both good and bad: «It’s good because whoever has that inside carries it and satisfies it every time they do it.

But it becomes bad when you’re not doing anything and you feel that desire, that itch of wanting to do something,» she said. «That itch is one of the things that makes me think I’m going to keep doing things for television, plus I miss it.»

Saying goodbye to Caso Cerrado

When Ana María was asked how she felt the day she recorded her last program on December 10, 2019, she answered the following: «Saying goodbye to a team that had been with us for 19 years, in which we had gone through thousands of things together, that we had developed in thousands of ways, was difficult.»
