It also celebrates the culture and achievements of the Latino community in the United States.
It used to be Hispanic Heritage Week before being established by legislation sponsored by Representative Edward R. Roybal of Los Angeles, California.
«Las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan»

In the first days of 2023, a song took everyone by surprise and became a worldwide hit.
It’s «Shakira: BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53» performed by the Colombian singer Shakira and the Argentine producer Bizarrap.
With a special dedication to her ex-husband, Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, and her current girlfriend, Clara Chía, the artist practically dominated this musical track.
One of the most memorable lines from this song goes: «Las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan.» And indeed they do.
«¿Qué le parece esa morra?»

Undoubtedly, one of the top 5 songs of 2023 has to be «Ella baila sola,» performed by Peso Pluma and Eslabón Armado.
In recent months, ‘La Doble P’ has become a phenomenon in the music industry.
But it was with this song that practically everyone took notice, and it even became one of the most popular tracks on Spotify.
«Compa, ¿Qué le parece esa morra? La que anda bailando sola me gusta pa’ mí. Bella, ella sabe que está buena, que todos andan mirándola cómo baila».
«Y lo usaré solo para decirte lo mucho que lo siento»

Despite saying that he would take it easy in 2023, which he has done in one way or another, Bad Bunny surprised everyone once again.
A few months ago, the song «Un x100to» was released, where he teamed up with the Grupo Frontera, who have quickly become idols in their own right.
In this track, the singers narrate the emotions of having lost their ex-partners, and they express deep regret.
The line «Me queda 1% y lo usaré solo para decirte lo mucho que lo siento» (I have 1% left, and I’ll use it just to tell you how sorry I am) is one of the most sung-along lines in recent months.
«Más buena, más dura, más level»

In this list, the Colombian singer Carolina Giraldo Navarro, better known as Karol G, couldn’t be missing.
Alongside her fellow countrywoman, Shakira, she released the song «TQG,» remembered for the line: «Tú te fuiste y yo me puse triple M: Más buena, más dura, más level» (You left, and I turned triple M: More good, tougher, on a higher level).
As if that wasn’t enough, she also released the song «Amargura» in 2023, considered an anthem of heartbreak.
Written by Karol G, along with other songwriters, ‘Amargura’ is included in the album «Mañana será bonito.»
«¿Por qué no tengo un corazón así?»

Before the scandal and controversy they caused with their unfortunate statements, Yahritza y su Esencia rose to fame with the song «Frágil».
Accompanied by Grupo Frontera, again in this list of the 5 best songs of 2023, the young people captivated music lovers with their peculiar style.
According to Billboard, Frágil is «charged with soul, emotion, and many unanswered questions.» It’s a great song.
«¿Por qué no tengo un corazón así? Así como el que te dieron a ti. Porque el que me tocó a mí es frágil, por eso lo rompiste fácil».
