The actress, who has never smoked in her life, surprised her fans by sharing a video from a hospital, describing her recent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor.

In the video, Micucci said she we was surprised by her diagnosis and highlighted the importance of catching it in time, thanking her doctors for their quick intervention.

«It’s really weird because I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life so uh, you know, it was a surprise,” Micucci said of the diagnosis.

«But I guess it happens and so the greatest news is they caught it early, they got it out — I’m all good» the actress shared.

Her lung cancer was caught because she had blood tests with abnormal results, which led Micucci to undergo more medical tests.

These additional tests revealed a spot on her lung, leading to timely diagnosis and treatment.

«I had one thing in my bloodwork that came back really high. So I went to a preventative doc who did a few scans,» she explained.

«He scanned my heart and that’s where the spot in my lung was noticed,» Micucci explained about her shocking diagnosis.

She says she is recovering well and hopes to return to work as soon as possible.

«It’s been a little bit of a trip and [I’ll] probably be moving slow for a few weeks but then I’ll be back at it,» she concluded her TikTok video.
