Border czar Tom Homan confirmed that the deportation plan promoted by former President Donald Trump will not be limited to undocumented immigrants with criminal records.

According to Homan, any person in the United States without legal documents will be considered a violator of immigration law.

«Am I offending someone? I don’t give a damn,» Homan declared during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

The former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) endorsed the $340 billion budget, with $175 billion allocated specifically to intensify deportation efforts.

This funding will expand border operations and increase the presence of immigration agents, as reported by La Opinión.

Tom Homan responded to criticism over the arrests of non-criminal immigrants.

«Yes, of course. We did it because being in this country illegally is a violation of our law,» he stated.

The official defended the stance that entering the U.S. without authorization is a crime that should not be overlooked.

Additionally, he criticized civil organizations that educate immigrants on their rights during immigration raids.

«You can say you’re educating people about their constitutional rights, but we know the game,» he remarked.

Tom Homan accused these organizations of trying to interfere with immigration law enforcement.

«Entering this country without authorization is a crime against an American citizen,» he added.

Tom Homan also addressed sanctuary states like Illinois, which are facing federal lawsuits for protecting undocumented immigrants.

In contrast, he praised Republican-governed states that have aligned with Trump’s immigration policies.

The former ICE official commended Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his strict approach to immigration enforcement.

«It’s a crime to enter this country illegally. DeSantis passed a law that will remove any mayor or sheriff who refuses to enforce immigration law,» he stated.

Homan’s remarks reinforce the hardline stance on immigration that defined the Trump administration’s policies.
