Argentina is in shock after the brutal murder of three young women in Buenos Aires province, a case that has shaken the nation due to the cruelty with which it was carried out.

What is most alarming is that the massacre was streamed live through the Deep Web in a closed group of at least 45 people.

The victims were identified as Morena Verri, 20, Brenda del Castillo, 20, and Lara Morena Gutiérrez, 15.

The crime occurred in the municipality of La Matanza on Friday, September 19, when the three were reported missing.

Security cameras showed the girls getting into a pickup truck around 9:29 p.m. that Friday.

That was the last time they were seen alive before their families reported them missing.

According to BBC, the search intensified quickly, and by tracking their phone signals, authorities located a house in the Jachal and Chañar area.

Inside, they found the bodies, describing the site as a true “house of horrors.”

Online Streaming of the Crime and Extreme Violence

Buenos Aires Security Minister Javier Alonso confirmed that the murder was broadcast live on the internet.

Investigators stated that the video was viewed by dozens of people in a private group, fueling national outrage.

Forensic reports revealed shocking levels of violence: all three young women were raped before being killed.

The 15-year-old victim was mutilated—her fingers and one ear cut off—before being brutally slit across the throat.

Gruesome Details and Arrests

Brenda del Castillo was reportedly beaten, tortured, and killed with a fatal blow to the face.

Afterward, the killers cut open her abdomen in an act of extreme cruelty.

Nearby, the burned-out pickup truck where the girls were last seen was found just 100 meters from the house.

Police arrested two people who were attempting to clean the house, as well as two others directly linked to the crime.

Investigation and Possible Drug Trafficking Links

Minister Alonso stated that the young women were lured with an invitation to a supposed party, which turned out to be a deadly trap.

Early hypotheses suggest they were killed between 11:00 p.m. and midnight on Friday, according to La Nación.

The four suspects appeared before authorities but refused to give formal statements.

Still, reports indicate one of them mentioned the possible involvement of a Peruvian drug trafficking mafia operating in Buenos Aires.

Charges and Judicial Classification of the Triple Homicide in Buenos Aires

Prosecutor Gastón Duplaá confirmed that the accused face charges of aggravated homicide under multiple factors.

These include premeditation, the participation of several people, and the extreme cruelty inflicted on the victims.

The case also carries the classification of femicide, as the victims were women killed in a context of gender-based violence.

The triple homicide Buenos Aires has provoked a powerful public reaction, with demands for immediate justice spreading across the country, according to BBC and La Nación.
