Consumers who purchased tuna cans between June 2011 and December 2016 at Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Costco may be eligible to receive up to $25 per can purchased.

Eligible customers will receive notifications by postal mail with instructions on how to claim their refund.

It is crucial for consumers to be attentive to their mail, as it will be the only way to obtain information about the process.

Although the companies deny any wrongdoing, they have agreed to pay the settlement as part of the resolution.

StarKist’s CEO stated that the company is committed to social responsibility and seeks a positive outcome for consumers.

A 2015 Department of Justice investigation revealed price-fixing practices by StarKist and Lion Capital that harmed market competition.
