Fabio Oribio, the restaurant’s marketing director, confirmed that the team reviewed security footage and determined that the note was written by a local customer.
According to Oribio, the woman may have been upset about the restaurant’s one-coupon-per-table policy or the long wait time during peak hours.
He also clarified that Ricardo has no record of poor service and that, despite his Latino heritage, he is a U.S. citizen by birth.
«This is not a place for hate,» Oribio stated.
