The renowned Mexican actor César Bono is in the middle of an unusual conflict that has taken to social media.

He publicly denounced a woman who resides in one of his properties, in Huixquilucan (Mexico) without paying rent for more than a year.

He shared the moment of desperation that both he and his family are going through for not receiving a single peso from the tenant.

Bono, known for his participation in successful projects such as ‘Vecinos’ and ‘Betty en NY’, was totally mortified.

The beloved actor used his official account on the popular social media X (formerly Twitter) to make the complaint public.

César Bono did not hesitate to share and open his heart with his followers after being the victim of robbery by the tenant.

In addition, they requested assistance to evict the person, identified as Jessica López Rivera, who refuses to leave the home.

López Rivera initially paid a year’s rent in advance, but has since defaulted on payments.

César Bono makes a public statement

This triggered a dispute between both parties. The 73-year-old actor described the woman as a «delinquent.»

Despite a legal ruling in his favor, she continues to occupy the property, which he considers to be a constant act of theft.

Bono expressed his exhaustion at the situation, admitting that, due to his age, he lacks the energy to deal with this conflict.

«I want to tell you that in my house located in La Herradura, Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, a person has lived without paying rent for more than a year,» he said.

«That person is Jessica López Rivera who works at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social,» the comedian also shared.

«He paid a year’s rent in advance, two years ago. I never asked her to be the form of payment,» César Bono said in the video.

He states that he asked her to «pay month by month as is always the case. She paid me a year and she has not paid again in all of 2023.»

Actor’s request for help

«I know where the woman lives, I know she is a criminal, because day after day she is stealing from me,» said the ‘Vecinos’ actor.

«I want to ask all the media and public opinion for their support,» the famous ‘Frankie Rivers’ added to his statements.

The actor explained that he won the trial that was carried out and that they even gave him a date for Jessica’s eviction.

However, she would have attended with another judge going against the previous decision to remain inside the residence.

IMSS response and clarifications

«The house is mine, no one else’s. I have never stolen a cent from anyone and they have been stealing from me for a year,» said César Bono.

The IMSS quickly responded to Bono’s accusations through a statement on social media.

«The IMSS is sensitive to the actor’s complaint. It is specified that the person to whom he makes reference is not a worker at the institute,» they noted.
