According to El Heraldo de México, Brazil is in shock following the murder of two minors at the hands of their own father.

The perpetrator was identified as Thales Machado, municipal Secretary of Government of Itumbiara.

After committing the crime, the official took his own life.

According to reports, the politician decided to take his own life after learning of his wife’s alleged infidelity.

The case was also reported by the Argentine outlet Clarín.
